Perfect Meditation

Updated: Oct 19, 2021

Perfect meditation happens when we are not believing to be a person.

So there is no meditating. No meditator. There is no doing of anything. It is the way of the supremely lazy because imaging that I am a person requires too much effort.

It is why Rupert Spira and Francis Lucille describe meditation as 'what we are' and not something that we do.

So get comfortable. Relax your shoulders.

Not liking a thought requires too much energy. I'm too lazy to resist anything.

Our natural state is already perfectly peaceful. So it doesn't make sense to do something if I am already that. What would I need to do, to be more me?

Eventually we realize the peace that we seek is always running in the background of experience. Eventually we realize, I AM that peace.

I feel like asking, "Why didn't anyone explain this to me when I started?" And then I realize with a knowing smile that someone probably did.
